ABOUT MY PROGRAM

In my family childcare home, I provide a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, secure, and genuinely cared for. Within my home, each child has the opportunity to build a trusting relationship while growing and mastering new skills at their own pace. I focus on the development of the whole child—supporting physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth each day.

As a military spouse, I understand the unique needs of military and civilian families alike, including the importance of flexibility, reliability, and trust. I am currently working towards becoming a certified Family Child Care (FCC) provider. During this transition, I am proud to offer weekend care to support families who need flexible, dependable care as needed.

I am committed to creating meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, and hands-on activities. Daily experiences are thoughtfully planned to inspire curiosity and encourage children to learn about the world around them. Early learning is naturally incorporated throughout the day, with a focus on language development, early math concepts, creative expression through art, simple science exploration, and positive social interactions.

Again, my goal is to maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming home environment where every child feels comfortable, valued, and supported. As a small, home-based program, I am able to provide individualized care tailored to each child’s unique needs and developmental level.

I believe that a child’s confidence and self-image are the foundation for lifelong learning. Each child is treated with kindness, patience, and respect, with a strong emphasis on emotional well-being. I recognize that children learn best through active, engaging play and meaningful experiences.

Open and consistent communication with families is a top priority. I encourage parents to reach out at any time with questions, updates, or concerns. By working together, we can create a strong partnership that supports your child’s success.

About Me

Caring for children has always been a true passion of mine. If I had the opportunity to have more children of my own, I absolutely would. I genuinely love nurturing, teaching, and supporting children as they grow. I strongly believe that every child deserves a safe, loving, and stable environment where they can learn, explore, and thrive. Owning a childcare program that serves the needs of my community has been a dream of mine since playing 'teachers' as a child, and I would love nothing more than to bring that dream to life.

One thing I promise every family is while your child is in my care, they will be supported, cared for, and never go without. I treat every child as if they were my own, making sure their needs are met and that they feel valued every single day.

I graduated from the University of Memphis in Spring 2014 with a strong desire to serve and support children and families. Shortly after, I began working with Memphis-Shelby County Schools in Fall 2014, where I have continued to grow in my experience and dedication to education. Through my work, I’ve seen firsthand the increasing need for quality childcare, as well as support for school-age children, including those participating in virtual learning. I am committed to helping meet those needs in a meaningful and supportive way.

As a parent, I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with your child. That’s why I strive to build strong, open relationships with every family I serve. I want you to feel confident, comfortable, and at peace knowing your child is in a safe and caring environment.
